About us

Welcome to Malpas Scout Group. Home to Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts in Malpas.

Who Are We?

We are a rural village Scout Group based at the Bishop Heber High School in Malpas on the English Welsh border in Chester and Cheshire West. We run sections for young people from the age 6 -18 and all are fully inclusive for everyone.

Our aim to is to provide outdoors activities, challenge and adventure in a safe environment, whilst working through The Scout Associations programme of badges and awards for all sections. We also work with the older Scouts and Explorer Scouts on the Duke of Edinburgh’s awards.

Our team of volunteers support about 80 young people in Malpas and the surrounding area at the moment. But we need more volunteers so the Group can offer scouting to all those on our waiting lists, who would love the opportunity to join our adventure.

Our sections

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
